PAF 2026 will take place on April 10th - 12th, 2026.
The start date for accepting all competition entries, except for photographs, is January 20th, 2026. The start date for accepting photographs will be specified at a later date. Please see below for details.
The deadline for accepting competition entries is Sunday, March 1st, 2026, at midnight.

Dear photographers, we are preparing a new interactive web gallery for you. Not only will it have a more modern look and a more pleasant working environment, but the main new feature will be the possibility of audience rating.
Visitors to the website will be able to rate photographs in the competition categories in the PAF Tachov gallery from their computers.
Unfortunately, we have not yet managed to complete everything by the expected deadline. We apologize for the slight delay in accepting competition entries. We will inform you as soon as everything is finished and ready for you to upload your photos.

Main awards

  • GRAND PRIX PAF Tachov - the prize will be awarded to the best author in the Diving film category
  • TOP PHOTOGRAPHER PAF Tachov - the prize will be awarded to the winner of the Author's portfolio category

Other awards

  • TOP PHOTO PAF Tachov - the prize will be awarded to the author of the best photograph throughout all categories
  • Participants who score 1st - 3rd place at all announced categories receive prizes
  • Prize of the audience - the prize will be awarded by the festival audience in the photos category
  • Participants who score 1st - 3rd place at the Championship of underwater photography of the Czech Republic receives prizes
  • Special awards
  • Each participant will receive a porcelain plaque with the festival´s symbol

Audience awards

  • Audience award - the prize will be awarded to the author whose photo received the most votes by the festival´s audience
  • Kids audience award - the prize will be awarded to the Author whose photo received the most votes by the children audience - the exhibited photos are rated by at least 400 children every year
